Cassie’s family has friends with this beautiful property in Indiana where we spent the evening exploring. This broken down barn almost
caused me to swerve off the road as we were nearing the house because it looked so cool. So obvi, we started there.
This was one of those times I wish Adam was shooting with me because how I had myself wedged and balanced on the outer wall remains
must of looked nuts. They were brave enough to climb up the rubble, so I had to get a good angle, right?
Girl, look at those eyes! And your smile is so perfect, not to mention Luke’s sexy face!
These are so sweet even though Luke may have argued what she was doing to get him to laugh was not so sweet at all. HA!
So when we chatted about locations she said they like to go shoot guns on this land. Me, having zero knowledge on guns, automatically
pictured an old school shot gun. Right? When this pretty LITTLE gal (who I still see as the baby of 5 kids, forever 7yrs old) whips out her
own personal AR that looks like she should be hiding on a sand dune in the middle east, my jaw dropped. “Oh! Yep, that’s not really what I
had pictured in my mind to be part of a playful e sesh.” Says, still stunned, me. Bahaha. But I just had to capture the juxtaposition of this
blue eyed beauty annnnnd that monster in her hand. This is for her brothers.
Luke’s Mom passed not long ago and Cassie now wears the necklace his mama wore as her formal “wedding ring.” And I do believe her
ring is part of his Grandma’s diamonds as well. How incredible honored Cass must feel!
You two in wedding gear…oooooo…can’t wait!!
I asked Cassie to stand there so I could test the light, secretly I just wanted to take a really relaxed portrait. Hehe.Ended the night with a bang. Gorgeous sunlit pictures are the best.
You guys did so good and I know Luke was way less than thrilled about the idea. Hopefully after he sees how googly happy you two are in
print, he will realize it wasn’t so bad after all. Great memories to frame and keep for your future kids. Future adorable kids! Looking
forward to seeing the whole family next year! Heart, Melanie.
