haley.

It’s so much fun when you are shooting someone who models so naturally. how we were on the same wave length the whole sesh and

the most i had to say was, “turn this way and can you just…” and boom, she’s doing exactly what i was imagining.

haley’s mom is a photog as well, which i’m sure has a lot to do with haley being so dang good at this.

haley is so gorgeous, it’s hard to believe she’s only a senior.

i imagine boys follow you around like lost little puppies. took me a sec to figure it out, but holy cow, she could be ashley judd’s daugher.  she STRONGLY resembles ashley’s younger days.about 20 ft to her left were 3 teenage boys who could hardly keep their cartoon eyes from popping out of their head and jaws off the

ground. full on staring, maybe not even blinking.  in fact, one asked if he could have his pic taken with her.  i’m happy we continued to shoot after our starbucks rain delay. you did SO good, please find me post college for your wedding! good luck

wherever you go. and if your folks let you study abroad, we can so chat it up. great to meet you! thanks for the biz ginny! ;) heart, melanie.

kelly & drew.

these two are 1. both artists,  2. have great style, and C. HOT, so basically they are the photographers dream couple to shoot. maybe you should try and be a little more in love.i joked with kelly that drew need not worry about being nervous for this session because honestly, he’s just accessory to his gorgeous bride.

why are the most run down parts of town always the most beautiful to photograph? you make me smile.we ended the session with some sexy light…and 3 million mosquito bites each. yum.besides the incredible portraits drew paints, he also customizes shoes! holler at drwlord@yahoo.com if you want to showcase his talent.this stray cat was all over the alleys. eeek!

you guys are too good at this. all the more reason to look forward to your outdoor barn with crazy details wedding! but who am i kidding?

i knew this session would be easy. if the sun hadn’t gone down, we could have shot another 5 hrs! can’t wait for the fall!!

Kerry & Sebastian.

it’s a little bit crazy to me that i can sit here and say i remember when these kids were born. my family has fondly referred to them as the “hoar babies”

since we met them. (their last name is hoar ;) ) well, it seems as though the twins are about to start their senior year!! laksjdoinaicokken!?!

this is little sis, rose. she’s quiet with all kinds of personality hiding beneath her bashful eyes. sebastian is on the left and kerry on the right. they’ve become quite handsome, eh?

i asked them to channel their inner GQ. they both replied, “huh? what’s that?” seriously? don’t age me like that boys!

they have always joined my family in pumpkin carving and easter egg dying. they missed a couple years then all the sudden last year they show up

and they’re taller than adam?! i couldn’t believe it. gah! you guys are so handsome!! (by the way, rose made the bracelet kerry is wearing. how sweet is that?)with the amazing, loving, smart parents they have, it’s no surprise what intelligent, sweet men they are becoming. both the boys plan on attending ivy league schools next year. between their parents i think mark and tricia have a total of 39 degrees.

so like i said, being a genius is in their blood. i had this image in my mind of them laughing and having a good time. i told them to imagine they are old, gray and 20 lbs heavier. then to be standing

next to each other looking at this print of them when they were in their prime. i wanted them to remember the moment and be so happy they have that

image of the two of them. while it was all very confusing for them to be nostalgic like that, they just started laughing at me. whatever it took, i got the shot. ha! i told kerry to stand whatever way that his girlfriend would think he looked hot. his response? “i don’t have to do anything, she just thinks i am.”

i love you kid. that’s awesome. :) i’m not gonna lie, i was anxious about this session. i have never taken boys senior pics…for a reason. :-0 well i ended up really enjoying it! they

were fairly relaxed, only forcing me to tease them enough to be comfortable a quarter of the way in. you boys did great! so glad i got to hang

out with you outside of my parents kitchen! you guys will be wonderful at whatever it is you decide to do with your futures. destined for a

success. heart, mel bell
