craig & laura.

these two rock. they’re the perfect example of how clients become great friends. they were our last wedding of ’09, i remember it clearly

because i was big and rooound with nori, a few weeks from delivery. i think laura’s second favorite part about that day was me making a

scene on XU’s soccer field. it was pretty funny and another one of those moments where i don’t really think before acting, because i needed

to get a shot. maybe i should work on that? nah.

laura has become heavily involved in carrying on ali’s legacy. pink has become her new favorite color to which she credits my sis. :) she’s the

“running tutu” around town and will be leading the tutu pack in the flying pig next week!

gorge.ous.

in laura’s words, “yesssssssssssssss!!”

this happens a lot when shooting downtown. but generally the client doesn’t play along. ha! laura did! :)

their entire relationship in one still frame. someone may have once said, “laura is like a kite and craig is the anchor keeping her from flying

away.” ummmm. yep, exactly.

they never did an engagement sesh with us, so this was a just for fun, relaxing session. they’re such pro’s at being models that you would

have never known it was 40 degrees and drizzling the entire morning! i’m glad we got to do this for you after all you’ve done for my family.

we love you guys and are very thankful for all your hardwork. and by craig’s hardwork i mean, constantly picking up tulle all over their

house, searching high and low for pink men’s clothes, and driving laura all over the westside for various events. :) xoxo.

heart, melanie and adam.

mr & mrs pulskamp.

Not often do we do destination weddings these days because, well, we like to give all our spare time to those two little creatures humans taking over our

house.  this was our first of three (?!) this year and wow did we have.a.blast. korn insisted, no joke, on us having a long weekend away from the kids for

a “mommy & daddy trip.” if i didn’t know any better, i’d think she was trying to trick us into making a 3rd little human. :-0 so we spent an extended,

wonderful weekend being spoiled by korn, chad, and their families. key west is beautiful and a time or two we actually forgot we were still in the states!

most of us stayed at the hyatt resort and spa with beautiful ocean views.

korn was so hilarious on the wedding day. one of her closest friends was back in cincy, but through the wonders of technology, she was able to

FaceTime with her all day long. i believe korn was bragging about her view, here. ha!

gorgeous. your dress was absolutely perfect.

so neither of them were able to read their vows to each other because they were emotional. (adorable!)  funny part was, when the best man and

maid of honor read them instead, they got just as choked up! ha! so so sweet.

love the colors!

all it took was some yelling, clapping and running at some seagulls on the beach to make them become the perfect props. ha! i never really think

about what i look like when doing such crazy things in public. i wonder what all those people laying out on the beach thought. :D

duval st. that’s where it’s at, yo.

oh look, it’s kelly! (AGAIN!) she might as well have been there!

our new toy arrived just before we left.  the canon mark III, aka, a beast. these birds were quite high and certainly  weren’t slow. i was skeptical at

buying the new camera (because i’m cheap, and the M3 is NOT!), but i’m so glad we did. now we just need to buy 3 more! :)

honestly, i had no idea seagulls were this pretty.

the night before the ceremony, everyone got together for what would’ve been the rehearsal dinner. the restaurant was on the water, so you know

exactly where adam went after dinner. this is handheld, meaning no tripod. i’d get techy on you, but i’ll pass. just know…WOW. beautiful.

well i can’t say thank you enough for everything! y’all went out of your way to make sure we had a great time, and we (and my breastmilk) really

appreciated it. you really are genuinely nice people and we were so so grateful to be a part of your big day! looking forward to the big party

back here in cincy in july! congrats guys! heart, melanie and adam.

a dream come true.

seems as though everyone knows about this little miracle baby by now.  her story have gone viral over the last week and she’s touched more

lives in the last 6 days then aleisa could have ever imagined. ever. kelly and i needed to get a couple shots for a feature coming up so

we stopped by william and aleisa’s house. while packing up i just loved how mommy and babe were sitting there so beautifully,

so i snuck a few frames. :)

well before nora was born, aleisa wrote on her blog about a dream her daughter gretta had. since it had come true, she wanted to have

a tangible memory to keep forever.

itty bitty nora will be celebrating her 1 week birthday tomorrow! please continue to keep her in your prayers daily. there have already

been a few very frightening moments for them, so the least we can do is surround them with love. heart, melanie.
