we planned this session when jess was only like 4mths pregs, now her little man is 4 mths old! undefinedyou probably remember her gorgeous face from when cam was born.undefinedundefined‘sup dude?undefined

cory and jess have just become the cutest parents. i swear every single fb update from jess is about how much she loves cameron and being a mom. adorable.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedlove.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedso cute!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

the session was supposed to be outside, but it was dark and dreary with an occasional mist, kinda afternoon. ugh. thankfully they had good light in

their house! i’m so glad it still worked out. you guys are just so sweet to cameron, i love watching you interact. it’s like you’ve been doing it for years!

now if you just didn’t live in the stix of KY, we could see each other more often! booo. great to see you and special thanks for all your support for ali!

heart, melanie and adam.

mr. & mrs. naegel!

this is the jist of brittany’s original email to us: “we’re having an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family on earth day

at a nature preserve. we’re simple. i’m not wearing a wedding dress, and will carry dried wheat as my bouquet. we got engaged on an elephant in

thailand! we basically want you to cover the ceremony and to spend the day taking portraits because our reception isn’t even til the next day.”  a mutual

friend of ours gave me the heads up about brittany and said she’s a hippy with dreads and so stinkin’ cool. with all that combined we absolutely said

yes to making it happen!! her rings were custom made on the same trip to thailand, how awesome?!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

her gown was also handmade for her by a designer in seattle with recycled materials!undefinedjust before the ceremony started brit sent someone to remind mark she wanted to get married barefoot. :) adam caught this great shot during their exit.undefinedundefinedundefined

max, the ring bearer :) undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

undefined

this was my first bride with dreads. please find me more of those.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

we drove all the way to downtown cincy to hit up this specific shepard fairey mural. goes to show you what kind of people they are. i love that!undefinedundefinedundefined

apparently mark is a dj. so if you ever see this ‘robot’ spinning, shout out to him!undefined

:) undefinedundefinedundefined

this is nuts. so earth day was on good friday this year. everyone knows it rains every single good friday and if it’s not rainy, it’s dark and gloomy. well,

it literally rained from the moment we got up and the whole car ride there. as we were parking…IT STOPPED. i couldn’t believe it. the forecast

showed 100% chance of rain every hour of the day. the ceremony was still held outside, AND the entire 4 hours (ALMOST ON THE FREAKING dot)

we were with them, it didn’t rain. this was the very last shot and if you look close you can see the rain on mark’s shirt. as we pulled away it started pouring

rain for the rest of the day!! can you believe that?? i must have said it 20x’s that day. “word up to JC for giving you this perfect window of dryness today!!” ;)

undefinedi’m so glad everything worked out for you. we were truly looking forward to this, especially as our first wedding of ’11! it’s refreshing

for your creativity when you have a bride and groom who want to stray away from your typical wedding day. :) you guys are just the cutest and we

wish you much love and happiness. heart, melanie and adam.

bk4 1/2.

i know my last blog entry wasn’t the biggest ray of sunshine this blog has ever seen. but i’m so amazed by all the support we’ve been shown

through it! thank you for that! so i thought it’s only appropriate to show a little love to my other big sis. it’s been awhile since team

klems has made an appearance. this is brittany, the oldest of us 3. she is definitely the wiser, more ‘mature’ of us 3. she’s really got her

life together and it’s very admirable. i love her just as much and would do anything for her…including be up through the ENTIRE night

(again!) whenever bk5 decides to join the world. they don’t know the sex, which makes it all that more exciting for when she goes into

labor sometime this month! yay! you look amazing britt, thanks for being such a great role model for ali and i through the years. :)

undefinedanna banana is 2 and ella mozarella is 4 in a couple mths. can’t even believe it.undefined

these kids. wow. they’ve become total hams. like seriously, goofballs. we love it!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedella LOVES to read. aunt ali buys all the girls books on a regular basis (it’s the librarian in her). undefinedit doesn’t get much cuter than this, y’all!!undefinedundefinedbritt has always been a belly laugher. the kind that holds in her sound and shakes profusely. you should see her laugh right now, it’s so contagious.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedas i was taking a few of bk2, these little monkeys were doing this. i had to take a shot because how hilariously cute are they without even trying?!undefinedi love you team klems! oh, if you are ever looking for a good laugh, brian writes a great blog weekly about his role as a father. thelifeofdad, read it!

thanks for playing with me little ladies. i can’t wait to meet your little BROTHER or sister sooon! heart, aunt mel.
