mr and mrs mcintosh!
March 22, 2010 – 1:21 am
let’s start with the details. ashley spent a LONG time on them! with an engagement of only a few months, she pulled together some really cool stuff!
take a minute looking, cause there is some awesome stuff to see!
each bridesmaid had a different dress from anthropologie. ladies, you look so pretty!
let’s take a closer look at those AAAAAAAMAZING flowers done by katie elfers. katie, where were you when we got married?
by far the COOLEST flowers i’ve EVER EVER seen. gorgeous.
most the time bridesmaids match in every meaning of the word. from their dress, to the earings, the shoes, the hair-do, the nail polish… thank you ashley
for making NOTHING match! lol. not that there is anything wrong with matching, but if you know me, then you know i’d prefer NOT to match!
and of course the guys wore an assortment as well. duh.
ashley’s sister jess also got to have fun and find cute outfits for her boys! good lookin group, eh?
i want these shoes. bad.
ha! finally, on to the rest of the pictures!
don’t you just want to push in his belly button in and say “bee boop!”
brett and 2 of his boys. don’t they look JUST like him?
here’s the third son! he was with the girls. gabe had his eye on me ALL day.
the church was fantastic. but i’m pretty sure that was because of the florals and decorations!
ashley is scottish. and a wallace…
one guess what her dad and brother’s name is. WILLIAM. yup. william wallace.
how’d you like to be part of that blood line?
adam’s view.
my view. (isn’t uncle J in the back cute, grabbing his own shot!)
they did a foot-washing. it was very cool. it makes me wonder why more people don’t do it.
her eclectic touch came together beautifully!
adam’s favorite.
we were supposed to have a long time for portraits in mt adams after the ceremony. but like all wedding days, things just run behind! so we only had
a few minutes to capture as much as we could before we headed into the celestial for their reception.
adam, you’re killin’ me with those eyes. HOT.
people pay a lot of money to have perfect smiles like that!
my favorite.
we were in this gentleman’s yard taking photos. theeeeen he pulled in his driveway. talk about awkward. lol. but apparently he was very flattered,
and invited us through his house, to use his balcony that overlooked cincy! thanks mr!
ashley and adam…could you be anymore in love?
hello gorgeous.
mr wallace gave his welcome speech. IF there was a dry eye in the place, that quickly changed when he became emotional himself. it was beautiful.
you didn’t expect them to have a regular old wedding cake did you?
we are friend’s with ashley’s sister jess, and husband Brett, who are the eyes behind Studio3z photography. originally they were going to have to shoot the
wedding themselves, but i wasn’t having that!
after my stressful experience of shooting my sister’s wedding, being pregnant AND a matron of honor, i did
not want her to go through the stress! after a lot of talking btwn the three of us, we worked it out so we would cover most the day and Jess could relax
(the best you can as a MOH) and enjoy her lil’ sister’s day! but of course, they brought their cameras anyway and captured everything before we got there!
they posted on their blog too if you wanted to see! it was my first wedding back from maternity leave, so i was feeling a little rusty. on top of that, we were
all kinds of nervous seeing as though WHO we were shooting! but like most artists, when under extra pressure, you find your best work! thanks for having
us, i’m glad we got to be there! i’m amazed that what you pulled together so quickly, looked like more than a year of planning! brilliant. congrats guys!
heart, melanie and adam.
almost 3 mths?!
March 17, 2010 – 2:40 pm
my oh my where have the last three mths gone? how did this time pass by so stinkin’ fast?? nori is becoming so active that
we are just having too much fun! now that she can see so well and focus…her mobile and playmat have become very exciting for her.
that means i can actually shower, get ready for the day (in peace!) and pick her up BEFORE she’s screaming! lol. that’s HUGE!
yesterday when i got out of the shower i heard the loudest and craziest sounds coming from her room. she was listening to Michael Jackson
and boy if i didn’t know any better i’d think she was trying to sing along. it was SO COOL. (mostly bc i know that MJ will be her fav
just like he’s mine! just ask my old students, i played him on a daily basis.
)
bath time is her absolute favorite.
she splashes, kicks, and coo’s the ENTIRE time. it’s the best. puddles EVERYWHERE! hilarious.
this was a wake up call for me today. wow. same onesie. barely fits now
one week. 6.3 lbs 18in. 3mths 10.9lbs 22.5in
time to take a walk!
heart, mel, adam and nori!
the rogers!
March 10, 2010 – 1:08 am
hello baby owen!
my favorite. i love everything about this. is it strange that my eyes go to liz’s eye lashes BEFORE owen? they’re so perfect!
i’ve known evan for a very long time. though i’m not surprised how adorably cute he was with owen, using his high pitched baby
voice, funny faces and noises, i just never EVER thought i’d see that side of him.
so glad i did.
liz has a lot of nieces and nephews. she’s had all kinds of practice and it shows. total natural.
liz you’re so pretty!
poor owen fell asleep and woke up like 5 times while we were there. and every time i swear he just wanted to say to us…
“agh! you’re still here?? go aaaway!” adam’s favorite.
these two have lived and breathed soccer their whole lives. so adam thought it to be appropriate to stage this. with mom
and dad’s soccer genes, owen will be in the MLS at 18.
adam’s view
evan is a manager at home depot and has worked there forever! how cute is it that he’s got his own lil apron!
what a good lookin’ family!
so im pretty sure ive known liz for at least 15 yrs. we grew up playing club soccer together year round. and i think it was what, 7th grade
when you two started dating? i definitely remember some sort of ‘7 minutes in heaven’ business…(yup i said it!
) and the rest was
history! how many people can say they’ve been together since 7th grade? owen sure is an adorable lil boy! i can’t wait to watch
your family grow! you guys are awesome parents. it was a lot of fun to hang out with the 3 of you!
