after the careful placement of each hair…jen’s hair was finally finished. it was worth the wait girl!

i set up a lil make up station downstairs to give jen some personal time and space. the heat and

amount of people were getting a little overwhelming upstairs, so i kinda forced her to get away.

i didn’t want to add anymore unnecessary stress to her day!

the guys had a really stressful morning of golfing. HA. WHATEVER! and i just want to say, thank you

cory, for making my husband finally start a wedding day BEFORE me!! that never happens! lol

i think the most stress cory had all day was missing this putt! OUCH! lol

i wish we had more than 30 seconds for the parasol shot. it’s still really cute, but this was my first

opportunity with them so i had to think fast.

well, this might have been a little stressful too.  lucky for him, tom had a ‘get out jail free’ card in his pocket.

appeared at the reception?! i want to see this jen more often! holy cow!

OH MY GOD! emily, the one CLEARLY demanding the bouquet to fall into her hands, is their unmarried cousin.

poor nate, i’m sorry this picture made it a little bit more real how much emily might actually be ready for

that ring! lol. (emily taught spanish at my school…so i got to know her over the past school year:-D)

if it’s predicting rain or actually raining on a wedding day, i always say the same thing. ‘God always gives me a window of

at least 20 minutes to knock it out. no worries we will make it happen!’ this day was no exception. it rained all day as

the girls prepared and i just kept lookin’ out the window with confidence saying, it has to stop at some point, it will!!  and i’ll tell

ya what, God always comes through. just as jen was finishing her last touches, the sky cleared, we ran out…worked super quick…

as i was saying ‘we got the basics’, it started to drizzle again…lol. and THEN as if that wasn’t cool enough…it rained all the way

until the ceremony ended. but it stopped again as we got in the limo and we had another window to get some full

wedding party shots and some of just jen and cory.  and stormed during the reception! how lucky were we?

the two met at kent state, and they still live up there. now they are both special ed teachers. how cool, right?

cory, though it was only the second time we met, yer a pretty cool dude…and not so shabby lookin either i played soccer with

jen yeeears ago, which is how i came to know her and her sister angie (who i’m now good friends with).  turns out when you

get rid of the shorts, cleets and sweat…these girls are pretty dang gorgeous!! thanks for having us be part of your

day guys! we had a lot of fun. your bridal party was a bunch of goofs, WHICH we love! and your reception

was rockin. thanks for your patience on the blog! heart, mel and adam.
