Welcome Home.

I wrote a post draft here a couple weeks ago. Didn’t publish because I’ve had clients stuff to post. After re-reading it just now, I realized it

really should just be posted on the Rock pink site because it has more to do with Ali than anything. Soooo to read the actual post click

HERE. I did want to have a link here though because I still have people asking if it’s for sale because I never followed up! Oops.

I know, I know. It’s a total cookie cutter and you are SO surprised two artists moved into it. Buuut IT IS awesome and we love it. Truly it was

between this house and one so polar opposite, artsy that the 3ft loft walls were extremely unsafe for Nico. And the lack of doors and ceilings

over bedrooms. Ha. This just works perfect for us. :) And also about 10 others on my street.

Heart, Melanie.

Ps. Brittany and Brian are moving too!

easter 2013.

Before you say it, I know, I know…Nico is wearing Nori’s pjs. I have two mountains of laundry to separate and fold. We didn’t get home

til 11:30p from the Easter Vigil Saturday night and I was too tired to dig when there were pj’s available right in front of me. He doesn’t mind

now, though he may in 10 years looking back. HA!

Bedhead is my favorite.

This kid. Gah. He’s so freaking adorable I can’t handle it. Even though he was jumping around swatting at the chandelier smacking the

Edison bulbs like it was a tetherball, I still want to squeeze and shower him with kisses!

<— Real life.  What I wish life was really like –>

Easter wasn’t prepared for this cuteness.

Mimi, Adam’s mom and Grandpa Arch came over for a perfectly prepared Easter feast, Papa Johns pizza. :)

Oh look, it’s US!

So last fall we did what everyone does and had a family portrait session. We skipped a year so the last time was when Nori was 10ths and

Nico wasn’t even a twinkle in Adam’s eye. I sounded like such a mom just then. Moms say that phrase. Geeesh. Anyway. We happen to have

some super cool friends who do a fabulous job behind the lens. Bobbi and Mike who have documented a few of the most important times

in our lives thus far. (If you click on this blogpost, Bobbi linked other places you’ll find us.)  So While sessions are slow, but “behind the

scenes” is busy around here, I thought I’d post OUR session to keep you entertained.

Thanks so much (again) BBMK. We are so thankful for these memories saved. Heart, Melanie.
